On August 2, the Chicago Fire star's boyfriend, Theo Epsy, posted a sweet photo of the two on Instagram stories to celebrate National Girlfriend Day. The snapshot showed the couple sharing a smooch in front of a mirror while Epsy held up his phone.

"Shamefully late by a day bc I was busy boyfriending...but...happy national girlfriend day to my favorite person to eat fruit outside with, I love you," Epsy wrote on his Instagram story before tagging Greensmith's account.

Greensmith then reposted the adorable photo, affectionately writing "I love u" back. Then, Epsy posted another snapshot of Greensmith looking gorgeous while she held up a small puppy and smirked to the camera. See the snapshots here.

Theo Epsy is a talented San Francisco based violinist. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in violin performance from New England Conservatory in 2016, and has performed at venues such as The Library of Congress, The Kennedy Center, NPR Tiny Desk Concerts, and more.

Epsy has also been nominated for two Grammy Awards in 2018 and 2019. His first nomination was for Best Latin Jazz album for his work with The Spektral Quartet for the album titled Yo Soy La Tradicion by Miquel Zenon, which is an album that put jazz interpretations on traditional folklore songs. His second nomination was for Best World Music Album, also for his work with the Spektral Quartet on the album Fanm d'Ayiti by Nathalie Joachim.

According to his website, in Epsy's free time, he likes drawing, photography, and nature.

The two lovebirds appear to have a lot in common, as Epsy isn't the only one who enjoys spending time in nature. Greensmith also posted some gorgeous snapshots of her hanging out at the historic Joshua Tree National Park in California. The pictures showed her exploring the beautiful desert scenery, while she sat on a rock while wearing some comfy clothes before showing off a unique red rock to the camera.

Earlier that month, Greensmith also took to her official Instagram page to share some pictures of her on another getaway with her co-star Daniel Kyri (Darren Ritter). The first snapshot showed the two friends lying down on a small boat in front of some peaceful looking water.

"Took me 10 months to get this film developed if that tells you anything about me…" Greensmith cheekily captioned the post. See the snapshot here.
